Common problems & their solution:

Your original menu is not displayed correctly?

Select the correct original screen size:

Settings > Vehicle Settings > Original Car Screen Resolution

For sound problems:

Please connect the system to the original AUX IN with an AUX cable , then connect to the Bluetooth from the CarPlay and listen to music.

Possible sources of error:

  1. In the old system, AUX IN must be stored as media source
  2. No AUX cable connected (from AUX OUT on the wiring harness to AUX IN from the vehicle)
  3. Optic cable not re-pinned

Your PDC view is not displayed (correctly):

is just a matter of attitude.

Settings > Back Settings > Original Camera

Even if you don't originally have a rear view camera, this must be selected.

For vehicles without the original display, "not exist" is selected so that CarPlay does not try to switch to the old system.

If you ordered a rear view camera, please select "aftermarket camera." You can find the exact settings in the camera's installation instructions.

If you have general questions about installation, please watch our video instructions on YouTube.

Here is the video tutorial:

Important NOTE:

  • Cut out the cutout without notching (as explained in the video)

Directions:

  1. Glue on the stencil
  2. Cut along the edge with a utility knife
  3. The first layer can now be removed
  4. The foam underneath can be easily torn off with your fingers
  5. Underneath is harder plastic, which must be cut out with a Dremel or saw
  6. Test insert the plastic holder and adjust the cutout if necessary
  7. The retaining plate is now screwed onto the plastic bracket
  8. Insert the 2 small sheets into the plastic holder
  9. The holder can now be mounted
  10. If everything fits, the retaining plate can be screwed tight with a screw
  11. Loosen and remove the air conditioning panel, then the radio
  12. Disconnect the plug from the radio
  13. install the new wiring harness
  14. Guide the white plug up into the cutout
  15. Plug the connector into the display and then insert the display and screw it tight with 2 screws
  16. Insert the controller into the center console and connect it to the wiring harness at the "External Knob" connector
