The weak point of the BMW N57 engine: the swirl flaps!

Why? The swirl flaps are located in the intake tract and tend to break off. If a flap falls into the combustion chamber, this can lead to serious engine damage - without warning, even at low mileage.

The solution: remove it!

The shift linkage in the intake manifold is removed, which means that the swirl flaps are loose and can be removed. The resulting hole in the intake manifold is closed with our blind plug. This solution ensures that no error is stored in the on-board computer.

Scope of delivery:

• 1* Blind plug (for the hole in the ASB after removing the rod)
• 6* gaskets (for intake manifold)
